Join Michael Thomas Jr. for “What You Need To Know” Each day he brings an amazing and interesting story about something in the news you might have missed. This runs four times a day at 1a & 1p and 7a & 7p on RFP.

Michael is the one of the newest staff members of RFP and earned a B.A. in  Broadcast Journalism from Columbia College Chicago. He’s a twenty-something year old from Chicago’s Northwest Side (Go Cub’s!) and grew up listening to oldies with greats such as Larry Lujack, Herb Kent, and Dick Biondi. Michael is a News Junkie, Cinephile, Audiophile and Sports Fanatic. He’s also a Vinyl Junkie who loves playing music on his vintage console and an all around ”old soul” who loves all things vintage, like mid-century audio, watching old foreign, silent, and independent films and is a big Frank Sinatra fan too! Michael is new to Arizona having moved to Scottsdale from Chicago in January 2015.
