Miss Mathilda Official Bio
MISS MATHILDA
Miss Mathilda Skonare Karlsson is a Swedish singer and songwriter based in Stockholm. She has worked and studied with well-known names in the music industry and received a degree in fine arts at Berklee College of Music in 2013. In the fall of 2015 she debuted with her first single Color to Color, which was followed by Creep and Best Friends Heart.
Playing the classical piano and violin since an early age has influenced her songwriting, where storytelling is at the heart of the music. Portrayed as dreamy and edgy, her sound may be described as reverie pop, fused with a hint of orchestral elements.
MUSIC TO MOTION PICTURES
Miss Mathilda has been working on various projects composing music to video games, TV and theatre productions.
In 2013 the Stockholm based video game company Poppermost Productions launched their game SNOW, which she wrote music to. Later the same year she did the sound production to the production of the play “Elva Edsvurna”
performed at theatre Giljotin in Stockholm.
In the fall of 2016 she completed writing the music score to the TV series “Hemma Hos Björnen” produced by Chimichurri Produktion, which will air later in 2017.
